Machine Learning Based Rice Plant Disease Management

A project of Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI), where a mobile app can identify pests and diseases of rice plants by analyzing images of infected organs (e.g., leaves) using machine learning.

• Developed an api that can manage communication between the mobile app and an image processing system.
• Developed Q&A platform where farmers can post questions using the app and get answers from specialists.
• Developed a CMS to manage rice plant related records, manage users account and data visualization.
